Poor Tom! He works all day, has two young kids, a wife/teacher who is off for the summer, storms brewing in the tropics and he decides to take on a built-in project! Is he NUTS! Here is Tom after our marathon cutting session in the 95 degree Florida summer:



We've come a long way from there. The left bank of cabinets is in-place, screwed to the wall and the base. Tom did a fine coping job against the base molding. We've flattened the cabinet front where it was proud in a couple of places. The face frame bits have all been cut, pocket screw drilled, and the first part of the frame is assembled. It's been a lot more detail work than I realized. No wonder Tom looks so tired Here is the progress so far.



Don't know how much more we'll get done this week. Tom said something about an anniversary... It's like he has a life or something

We're making it.....

SLOWLY but surely, we are making it!

There have been many lessons along the way, but wow, look Ma, no hands!

Seriously though, did you leave a monkey-shaped sweat stain on the bench when you stood up?

You two have been busy, and the heat just makes it a little harder. Keep it up and you'll be done before the temperature cools. Tom could be faking it, keep your guard up. Good luck with the rest of the build.
