Hi Guys,

I’ve had a PRL router lift from Woodpecker's for a few years now. I’ve noticed the crank becoming harder and harder to turn. I blew out all the dust and cleaned it up and it turned a bit better, but it’s still doesn’t turn freely. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Thanks for your input.

-Joe

Joe, if you go to www.woodpeck.com, you can view their product manuals. It might give you some info on how to correct your problem.

I have a Jessem and it has a set screw and nut that you turn to adjust.

I would try some kind of a dry lube.

Joe, I had problems with my Freud router lift awhile back.
I found a dry lubricant called Dupont Teflon at Lowes that helped.
