Hi folks
Here are a couple of pics of the commissioned Bear Box Intarsia that I have been working on. I still have to install the hinges, do the linings and apply a couple more coats of satin poly but it's coming along nicely. It has 70 pieces from 10 different woods

That was too fast for words. Now I understand why people pay you to do this. You're clearly a trained professional. Wow!

Do you use Lazar or CNC to create your works like the Bear and your kits? or do you have a staff that helps.

If not which scrolls saws do you folks use to get all that done so quickly?

Thanks guys
To Mango--I am a one man shop. All of my Intarsia art is done on an old Craftsman scroll saw.

You ought to explain the process a little, looks like something I'd like to know more about! :)

Mike, I really think Mango was pulling your chain and joking with you :D :D He's pretty good with a scrollsaw himself, but better with the spinny things.

For whatever reason I'm not a fan of instarsia. This one proves there's an exception to every rule.
