Our San Diego Fine Woodworker's Association started the 'Design in
Wood' Exhibit over 25 years ago and it has grown to be one of the finest exhibits of woodwork in the world. I took a few pictures today and will continue to post more in the weeks ahead.

Man, Karen and I so wish we could have stayed for one more day... I know where I would have spent most of my time (bugging you and the other volunteers) It looks like there were some beautiful pieces (as you promised there would be) Hopefully we'll be able to attend next year.

Do you have any pics of the completed chairs?

This will replace the 10x15 little red barn in the background. It will make things much more enjoyable down the line. As long as I can keep it clean, organized, and mine.

Like that is going to happen. But it will have an upstairs for storage..and that will help. The concrete has been poured. More pictures will follow. Thanks for all the inspiration and entertainment that this forum provides.

Yes, Lawrence, I'll take some better pics of the chairs. If you look closely in a couple of the pics of the woodshop ... above the benches, sitting on the 1/2 wall is one of the little chairs finished

It is there to show the public what we are building.
I really look forward to seeing you & your family again. It was a lot of fun for me & Cindy.
