You did a wonderful job of putting a rabbet on the lid so it fits into the box.

That's looking great BWW, how did you end up solving your thickness?

I look forward to seeing it with a finish on-- how are you planning on finishing it? Just as a reminder oil finishes will leach into the recipe cards for a very very long time. That sure does look good though,

I resaw the boards part way on the table saw and finish with a handsaw. then I sent it thought my thickness planer.
