I had a request to build this skeleton canoe light . Its kinda cool.
8 feet long and 20" wide. So its good size. Its going to go to PA then to a new cabin at some lake in NY. Don't mind the rope that its hanging up with. I just did this for a couple of pictures.. It will be hung on black chains above a 10 foot dinning room table..

Looks as if you did a fine job filling that request.

Have a great day.

     Just joking a bit.
That is a cool looking light fixture and you did a great job on it. Im sure the customer will be quite proud to own it and it will bring alot of attention to the dinning room table.

man, that canoe looks great-- and I really like the "ribs only" idea as well. It really makes it (even moreso than your other canoes) unique.

One more side benefit is that I'll bet the customers don't ask if it can be used as a canoe for children ;)

Thanks,

L.B. that is one of the most fantastic applications I have seen in years. Has a nice "antiqued" look to it. Good work on the brass nails, ribs look fantastic, final finish is very well executed.

Hanging like that is a great setup. I would use the black chains like you mentioned. It would look nicer for your portfolio examples after it goes to it's home.

There's a couple bars/restaurant/lounges up in Ely Minnesota that would want to take a closer look at that cute little "fixture". Ely is a springboard for tourists (with lots of money) who "get away from it all" into the Minnesota Boundary waters on canoe trips and if one of these (or another one of your creations) was hanging in a local watering hole (or tourist shop) I bet you'd get a lot of hits.

I'm drop dead serious, post a couple mailers to the town and see what bites. There's a lot of tourist money going through that town. I have a couple contacts you can start with. They can give you other names.
