Since my small stroke I have been limited in shop time, mostly cleaning. But I did get a few things done for Christmas. I had to Finnish this week before surgery on Monday, so here they are.

First, 5 pierced earring holders for my daughter, grand daughters and daughter-in-law.

Next is a shaving kit for my son-in-law. Engraved with his name and this Christmas date. Alternative Ivory. Nasty to turn.

And a set of pens and pill holders for a friend that is treating me to dinner before surgery on Sunday evening.

Also a couple of boxes posted in Infeed.

Thanx for lookin'.

Nice batch of turnings, Bob.

Best of luck with the upcoming surgery. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Beautiful work! What woods did you use?

Best of luck with the surgery. Heal well and fast my Brother.

Frank,

On the earring holders, left to right: An unknown piece given to me, jatoba and black wood, maple burl, (I think) white oak, red oak. On the pens, Left is African Olive wood and right is Guatemalan rosewood. Pill holders are dunnowood.

Thanx for the good wishes, surgery is supposed to be relatively easy. I am a bit uncomfortable having my neck opened and a major artery opened. Thats just me.
