Beautiful job, Bob.

Can you elaborate on "alternative ivory"? That's a new one for me.

Dennis,

Alternative Ivory is sold by PSI, maybe others, too. It is supposed to look like ivory, I can't vouch for that. It turns well, but oh the mess. The shavings are very light and fluffy. They go everywhere and a real mess to clean up. Worse than any acrylic that I have turned in the past. My brother-in-law was looking at a 1/8" sheet, 8 1/2" by 11" for some inlay work, $66.00. He changed his mind. Here is a link to PSI's site and their "AI" selections. http://www.pennstateind.com/mm5/merchan ... CH&q=ivory

Nice work Bob. I'd given some thought to turning the brushes for use in cleaning guns, they really work well, but gave it up as you can buy a Barbisol bursh for just $5. Can't compete with that.
