The new contest rules have been post in Contest Central.

This contest will be for turners and square (or somewhat square) woodworkers.

Come on down and check it out.

We now have ONLY 2 weeks left for this contest. I'm kind of surprised that we only have 2 contestants. For a something that would typically be made on a lathe, we have 2 contestants that don't have lathes.

So, how about a couple of woodturners get in this contest to make it more challenging for Roger & Verna?

Just shoot me a PM and I will send you the extra secret e-mail address to send pics of your entry.

Chance,

I'd love to join in but my shop has been flooded since March.

I spent 2 full days last weekend throwing out "stuff" (read CRUD) that had been stored down there.

No machinery damaged but the floor has a flowing 1/2" of water on it.
The 3 sump pumps are keeping up with the water but I can't make any shavings because the sump pumps don't like to pump them
DAMHIKT!

I was making progress on drying out until we got 4" of rain two weeks ago and another 4" of rain last Friday with Huricane/TS Earl.

Hopefully I can get back to turning soon.

Good luck with the challenge everyone.

Hey, Mike, take your time with the drying out--BTDT. You can turn later.

Stay safe
